Masks now required in certain circumstances

Due to the rising number of positive COVID cases in the county, the Huntington City-Township Public Library is making changes to the mask requirements for people in library buildings.

Effective immediately patrons will be required to wear masks under the following circumstances:

  • during any indoor programs
  • while using the public computers, copier or fax
  • while using the children’s department
  • during any in-person contact with staff

All patrons will be required to wear masks in these situations, regardless of vaccination status.

In addition, all Library staff will return to wearing masks when working with the public.

We understand that this is an inconvenience for some people. However, we feel that it is important to take steps to ensure the safety of our community and our staff.
