Memorialize your loved one by donating to their local library.
Donating in their name can put books with your loved one’s name on our shelves for the community to enjoy and by which your loved one can be remembered. Donating to the public library in your loved one’s name can be one of the best ways to keep their memory alive.
For every $50 donated, we’ll put a Memorial Plate in the inside cover of a brand new book, ordered for our collection with your donation money in a topic or by an author the loved one enjoyed. If you donate above $25 but less than $50, we’ll put a Memorial Plate in any book of your choosing on our shelves already. All donations, regardless of monetary amount, will also be memorialized here, on our In Memoriam webpage, where the names will stay for a minimum of 5 years.
Donations are used to fund library programs and events. By donating in your loved one’s name, the library is able to impact the lives of others in the community, as well as spread the memory of your loved one each time the book(s) with Memorial Plate(s) is checked out.
