Literacy Services Tutor Training
September 27 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, repeating until 10/25/2018
Current tutors, and those interested in volunteering time as a tutor for the Literacy Services of the Huntington City-Township Public Library, are encouraged to attend this year’s tutor training sessions.
Literacy Services tutors are always wanted and needed. We serve children and adults by helping with reading, spelling, math, ESL, and other skills tutoring, from basic to advanced.
The first session (September 27) will be an introduction to our tutoring services and details on volunteering. The remaining sessions will be active training for those who wish to be a tutor. Those interested in the idea are encouraged to attend the first session to see if it’s a fit for you!
We are interested in making library events, workshops, and activities more relevant and valuable to you. Please take our very short survey below – if you have a child, feel free to fill it out with information you'd like for them, too! Thank you.
