Join 21Country reporter Eric Olson as he discusses the importance of libraries during National Library Week. This impassioned testimony regarding the value libraries provide to, and the crucial roles they play in, their communities just might be the most inspirational talk you hear all year.
Eric Olson anchors 21Alive mornings. He is also our Your Country reporter, scouring the viewing area for interesting persons, places and things to write about. Eric was born and raised in New York, but moved to Indiana at age 16. He graduated from Central Noble High School in Albion and attended college at Indiana University in Bloomington and the University of Oregon School of Journalism in Eugene, Oregon. His last job before coming to Indiana’s NewsCenter was at the CBS affiliate in Portland, Oregon where he reported and anchored for five years. He and his wife Cathy have four children and three granddaughters and live in Fort Wayne.
