Severe Weather Preparedness week is March 19-25th, and it’s often taken as time to prepare for the variety of severe weather spring can bring to Indiana. To participate, he Huntington County Emergency Management team will present a Severe Weather Preparedness Workshop Monday, March 20th at 6pm at the Huntington Library. Covering how you can prepare yourself and your family for any potential spring weather disasters, the workshop will help you be ready should a weather disaster head our way. The program is geared towards adults and is free.
Relationships are about give and take, and for teens and young adults it can be hard to tell if your relationship is a healthy balance of the two. The YWCA of Northeast Indiana will present their Eyes Wide Open: Relationship Awareness program at the Huntington Library at 6pm on March 22nd and 29th. Teens and young adults are invited to come learn how to foster healthy relationships, as well as how to tell if you’re in an unhealthy or abusive one. The program is free.
