Santa Claus will once again be making a special stop at the Huntington Library this December. On Saturday, December 10th at 2pm, Santa will join library staff and patrons for a special holiday-themed story and sing-along session. Parents are invited to bring their cameras to take pictures of their child with Santa, as well. The program is free and children of all ages are welcome, though the stories themselves are geared for young children.
The Purdue Extension Office will bring back their popular Freezer Meals program the first three Wednesdays of December and January at 6:30pm. Starting December 7th, those who register to attend can come prepare an entire meal for freezing, which can be pulled out and cooked in a crockpot. Supplies will be provided, but registration is required. Each session can be signed up for individually, and there is a small fee to cover costs. To register or for more information, call the Huntington Library at 260-356-0824 or email email@example.com.
Nothing says happy holidays like homemade cards, but gathering supplies can be costly and time-consuming. For the entire week of December 12th, the Huntington Library will have supplies out in the Youth Services area for children to create their very own handmade holiday cards. Drop in any time all week, and the supplies are free for all to use.
