The Huntington City-Township Public Library is inviting everyone to the Open House for the brand-new Markle Branch Library. Now located at 155 West Sparks Street, the new library boasts brand new facilities, an updated and current collection in books, movies, and magazines, a meeting room, a children’s area, a branch of the Indiana Room, outdoor space, added parking, and more! The Open House takes place Friday, June 10th from 4-8pm and will involve a ribbon-cutting and tours of the new facility by library staff. The Markle Branch is available to anyone with a Huntington City-Township Public Library card, as well as residents of Wells County through a Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement. Come see what’s new!
Teens are invited every Monday to some free-play Minecraft time with Minecraft Mondays at the Huntington Library. Anyone in grades 6-12 can stop by from 3-4:30pm to build, mine, and hide from mobs on our own Minecraft server. Computers and Minecraft accounts are provided. Spots are limited, though, so make sure to call the library at 260-356-0824 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to get your name added to the list.
