According to Pew Research, 71% of adults who get on the internet have and use Facebook. The 12 year-old social media site boasts over 1 billion users daily. So for those of us who have never used Facebook, this can make it seem like we’re missing out. Or perhaps you signed up for an account but don’t know how to use all of the features Facebook offers. If you’re looking to learn how to use or get better at using Facebook, the Huntington Library’s Facebook 101 classes are for you!
The first class is at 6pm Thursday, June 2nd and covers signing up, setting up, and the basics of using Facebook. The second class will take place the following Thursday, June 9th at 6pm and will cover more in-depth use, including security and Facebook Dos & Don’ts. This program is open to teens and adults, and registration is requested for supplies purposes but not required. Computers will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own computers, tablets, or smartphones for use in the class as well. You are also welcome to attend one or both classes depending on what you’d like to learn. To register, please call 260-356-0824 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
