The Huntington Library is happy to welcome Vannetta Chapman for an author talk and visit Wednesday, April 20th at 9:30am. She is the author of six different book series, ranging from Amish romance to mystery to suspense – with two series set in Shipshewana, Indiana. In addition to her books, she has published over one hundred articles in Christian family magazines and has received over two dozen awards from Romance Writers of America chapter groups. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and American Christian Fiction Writers. She currently writes full-time from her home in Texas, where she also plays keyboard in her church’s worship band.
She will hold an author talk, discussing her research and inspiration, both for her Amish series and others, followed by a book signing. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own copies of her books for signing, but books will be available for purchase as well. While her books are primarily for adult readers, fans of all ages are welcome to attend. The Huntington Library is located at 255 West Park Drive, Huntington.
