In honor of Disability Awareness Month, children in grades K-6 are invited to the Huntington Library for Sign Language with Amanda Tuesday, March 29th at 4:15pm! Library staff member Amanda Bickel will teach attendees basic sign language, and the library will have a month-long display of materials to raise disability awareness for those wishing to continue further.
Have some free time during spring break? Come to the library any time between April 4-9 for some dog-gone good fun during our Spring Break Dog Days. Dog themed activity stations will be set up throughout the Youth Services area for all ages to enjoy. Take home a craft, enter a contest, identify dog breeds, draw a dog in fewer than 9 easy steps, and much more!
We’ve also got specific programs for teens during Spring Break. Tuesday, April 5th at 3pm we’ll be hosting a Teen Baking Class, with Wednesday at 2pm hosting a Minecraft Open Play session and Thursday at 2pm a Mario Kart Tournament. All supplies will be provided (including computers and Minecraft accounts), so all teens are welcome to stop by and enjoy.
