The local chapter of Psi Iota Xi will hold their annual Story Time & Craft at the Huntington Library Monday, January 11th. Children ages 4-8 are invited to hear a story — The Mitten by Jan Brett — as well as enjoy a small, wintery craft to take home. The program starts at 6pm and registration is requested so that supplies can be provided.
Families can come together around the stove at the Huntington Library for the Cook As a Family program in January and February. This program is led by the Huntington County Purdue Extension Office, and is a series of sessions meeting every Tuesday from 4-7pm starting January 19th and ending February 9th. Parents are encouraged to bring children so that everyone can help out and learn, with families leaving the program with a full meal to take home and the skills to continue cooking together. The program is offered at no charge with supplies provided by the Purdue Extension Office and the Huntington Library. The program is limited to 20 participants, however, so registration is required on or before January 11th.
Both programs take place at the Huntington Library, 255 West Park Drive, Huntington. To register or for more information, please call 260-356-0824 or email email@example.com.
