If you always feel like your income is shrinking and your bills are growing, the Where Does Your Money Go? workshop is for you! Led by Karen Hinshaw of the Huntington County Purdue Extension Office, this workshop covers how spending money today will affect your future spending, how to take control of your money, how to plan for emergencies, and how little expenditures add up. The program is for teens and adults and takes place Thursday, January 28th at 6pm.
Learning to paint can be an incredibly relaxing and rewarding hobby. Despite what many may think, everyone is an artist, and it just takes learning and practicing to become great. But, learning to paint can be expensive and tough to do alone, so the Huntington Library will be hosting a Painting 101 session as part of the library’s Cabin Fever-Busting program series. Join painter Caprice Erikson Saturday, January 30th at 10am to learn the basics behind painting and work on your very own piece of art. The program is open to teens and adults.
Because both programs are interactive and supplies are provided, registration is required. To sign up for either program, call the Reference Desk at 260-356-0824 or email firstname.lastname@example.org up to one week before the program. The Huntington Library is located at 255 West Park Drive, Huntington.
