Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Stop by the Huntington Library Thursday, February 4th from 5-7pm for a Cards & Cookies session. Decorate sugar cookies and hand-craft your very own Valentine’s Day cards, ready to be given to that special someone! Supplies and cookies will be provided, but everyone is welcome to bring their own supplies, too, if desired. This is an all-ages and family-friendly event.
Cooking with a crockpot is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to eat healthy. The Purdue Extension Office will lead a Crockpot Cooking class at the Huntington Library to demonstrate how easy it is to cook in bulk, as well as how to store the food for later. Every participant will take home a cooked and freezer-prepped meal after each class. The program takes place every Monday in February starting February 8th at 6pm and ending the 29th. Bringing one’s own crockpot is requested but not required, and all food and other supplies will be provided. Due to supplies and space demand, this program is limited to 5 participants. To register, call the Reference Desk at 260-356-0824 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
