Kicking off the Huntington Library’s November programs is a month-long book sale, hosted by the Friends of the Library. For the entire month of November, the Friends will be selling paperback books for 10¢ per copy at the Huntington Library. Stop by any time during open hours to browse the sale!
The Huntington and Markle Libraries will also be a local host for the International Games Day Saturday, November 21st. From 10am-4pm in Huntington and 9:30am-2pm in Markle, the International Games Day is an annual initiative run by volunteers around the world, and supported by the American Library Association, to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games. It’s completely free to participate and is open to all ages. Games such as Ticket to Ride, Battleship, Carcassonne, Clue, Pandemic, and Candy Land will be provided, and there will be a Wii set up with Mario Kart and Wii Sports. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own games!
