The new Markle Library building plans are currently in progress, and the library staff would like the community to have a say in the new building. They will be holding a Community Feedback Meeting on Tuesday, April 28th from 5:15-6:45pm at the Expectations Event Center, 193 E Morse St, Markle. The library is currently working with the architect firm krM Architecture to design the new building and are in the initial planning and feedback stages. They’re seeking community input so the residents of Markle can receive the best library for their needs as well as meet the architects who will build it. The new library will be on the land currently housing the city building, which will be torn down and the offices relocated. The meeting will be led by the architects and library staff will be in attendance.
Those who cannot attend the meeting are welcome to email their ideas and needs to the library at firstname.lastname@example.org.
