The Huntington City-Township Public Library would like to invite people and families of all ages to participate in the 7th annual International Games Day. From 10am-4pm on Saturday, November 15th, stop by the Main Library to play a variety of games – including Ticket to Ride, Battleship, Carcassonne, Clue, Pandemic, Mario Kart, and Wii Sports – as other libraries and schools around the world do the same. The Huntington Library is located at 255 West Park Drive, Huntington.
International Games Day @ Your Library is an initiative run by volunteers from around the world and sponsored by the American Library Association. In partnership with Nordic Game Day and the Australian Library and Information Association, its purpose is to reconnect communities through their libraries around the educational, recreational, and social value of all types of games. In the 21st century, libraries are about much more than books, and the Huntington City-Township Public Library will be one of over one-thousand libraries participating in the event.
