Kids in grades 1 – 6 are invited to come to Huntington City-Township Public Library to find out all about the Explosive Nature of Invasive Species, a free program at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 15 at the Main Library in Huntington.This program is being offered by Huntington City-Township Public Library and the J. Edward Roush Lake Corps of Engineers as a part of the Library’s Fizz Boom READ! summer reading program. Maggie Kubina, Ranger at Roush Lake, will be on hand to talk about the various invasive species that threaten Indiana’s natural environment. This program is free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated, but not required – call the Children’s Department at 356-2900. The HCTPL Main Library is located at 255 West Park Drive, Huntington.
