Wednesday, June 12 Friends of the Library Used Book Sale Preview, 5pm – 8pm
The Friends of the Library Used Book Sale Preview will be held on Wednesday, June 12, at Huntington City-Township Public Library, 255 West Park Drive, Huntington. This preview is for Friends of the Library members only – however, new members may join the Friends of the Library at the door. Membership costs are $5 for students or seniors, $10 for individuals or families, $25 for benefactors, and $50 for patrons. All members are entitled to receive two free books at the Preview Sale. Vintage books will also be offered in a silent auction; final bids must be in at 2:00 pm on Saturday.

The Friends of the Library Used Book Sale begins at Huntington City-Township Public Library, 255 West Park Drive, Huntington. The sale is open to the public. Stop by and get a good deal on some great books, and help support our local library! Most books are 50 cents; children’s books are even less expensive. Bidding on vintage books continues.

9am – 12pm Book Sale continues
12pm – 2pm Sack Sale – $2 per grocery sack of books. Vintage auction closes at 2:00 pm.
2pm – 3pm Remaining books are FREE – except for vintage books!
The Friends of the Library welcome donations of gently-used books and other items for the Used Book Sale. Donations are being accepted at the Main Library, 255 West Park Drive, through Monday, June 10th. For more information, contact the Library at 260-356-0824.
The Friends of the Library for Huntington City-Township/Markle Public Libraries is a group of people who believe in the Library and the importance of its services. Friends demonstrate their belief by supporting Library activities, securing materials and services, and promoting the Library as an active, dynamic education and information center in the community.
Ongoing projects include providing library activity packets for hospitalized children, delivering books to nursing homes, the Huntington County Jail, and Malta House, funding and promoting library activities and other special programs for children and young adults, and funding annual Summer Reading Programs for all ages. Annual fundraising projects include operating the magazine recycling/resale booth year round, offering used books, magazines and fresh coffee for sale in the Books & Brew area at the Main Library, and sponsoring the annual Used Book Sale in June and the Holiday Book Boutique in December.
